Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your organisation’s use of the Schoolise platform, operated by QCD Consulting (“Schoolise”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing or using Schoolise, you agree to these Terms.
Last updated: 25 July 202601 Use of the Service
Schoolise provides a school management platform for organisations including independent schools, international schools, state schools and academies, tutoring centres, training providers and online learning providers. The service is intended for use by authorised staff of organisations that have signed up, along with the parents, students and guardians those organisations choose to give access to.
You agree to use the platform only for lawful purposes, in line with these Terms.
02 Accounts
Using Schoolise requires an account. You’re responsible for:
- Keeping login credentials confidential
- Ensuring the information provided is accurate
- All activity that takes place under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
03 Organisation Responsibility
If you’re using Schoolise on behalf of a school or organisation, you confirm that:
- You’re authorised to act on behalf of that organisation
- Your organisation is responsible for managing its users, and for the accuracy of data it enters
- Your organisation acts as the data controller for the student, guardian and staff data it holds in Schoolise, with Schoolise acting as data processor — see our Data Processing Agreement
04 Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for unlawful or harmful purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the system, including another organisation’s data
- Interfere with the platform’s performance, security or availability
- Upload or distribute harmful, unlawful or inappropriate content
05 Data and Privacy
Use of Schoolise is also governed by our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, our Data Processing Agreement. You’re responsible for ensuring that any personal data — including student and staff data — entered into Schoolise is collected and used in line with applicable data protection law.06 Intellectual Property
All software, design and content that make up the Schoolise platform are owned by or licensed to us and protected by intellectual property law.
You retain ownership of the data and content your organisation uploads (such as student records or lesson resources), and grant us a limited licence to use it solely to provide the service to you.
07 Availability of Service
We aim to provide a reliable, available service, but don’t guarantee uninterrupted access. The platform may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, updates or improvements, and we’ll aim to keep disruption to a minimum.08 Packages and Subscriptions
Schoolise is modular: your organisation starts with the Core Platform and can add optional packages as needed. For paid packages:
- Pricing will be clearly communicated before you commit to it
- Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled in line with your agreement
- Your organisation is responsible for any applicable taxes
Non-payment may result in suspension of access to the affected package or platform.
09 Third-Party Integrations
Schoolise supports optional integrations with third-party services, such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Zoom, Stripe, SMTP providers, and CSV import/export. Enabling an integration may involve sharing relevant data with that third party, subject to their own terms — see our Integrations page and Privacy Policy for more detail.10 Termination
We may suspend or terminate your organisation’s access if these Terms are breached. You may stop using Schoolise at any time. Following termination, your organisation’s data will be handled in line with our Data Processing Agreement, including any agreed retention or deletion period.11 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legal Entity Name will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, or loss of data, revenue or business arising from use of the platform, except where caused by our own negligence or breach of these Terms.
Our total liability in connection with the service is limited to the amount your organisation paid for Schoolise in the preceding 12 months.
12 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.Questions about this document?
