Built to bring school technology back together
Schoolise started from a simple observation: schools and learning organisations don’t usually lack software — they have plenty of it. What they lack is a version of it that talks to itself.
Built by someone who has sat on both sides of school technology
Schoolise was founded by someone with over 30 years of experience across education and education technology — time spent inside schools, and time spent building the software meant to support them. That combination shaped the platform more than anything else.
Seen from inside a school, the problem wasn’t a missing feature. It was that every system — registration, timetabling, attendance, finance, communication — had been built to solve one job well, with no real thought given to the fact that the same student, the same class, and the same term were sitting inside all of them at once.
Schoolise was built the other way around: starting from the organisation, the people and the academic structure first, and letting every module — timetable, attendance, finance, safeguarding, communication — sit on top of that shared foundation, instead of standing apart from it.
To give schools and learning organisations one platform that actually reflects how they run — so less time goes into moving information between systems, and more goes into the people those systems are there for.
A few things we try to hold to
These aren’t marketing lines — they’re the questions we keep coming back to when deciding what to build next, and what not to.
Built for the people who use it every day
A feature earns its place by making a real day easier for an administrator, teacher, parent or student — not by looking good in a demo.
One system, not another silo
New features are built to sit on the same organisation and student data as everything else — never as a separate add-on with its own copy of the truth.
Considered, not cluttered
It’s easy to keep adding options. We’d rather take the time to work out what actually needs to be there, and leave out what doesn’t.
Careful with sensitive information
Student and staff data — especially safeguarding and welfare records — is treated as sensitive by design, in a GDPR-compliant platform, not bolted on as an afterthought.
