Most of it, though, grew module by module — registration first, then a timetabling tool bolted on, then a finance package added later, sometimes from entirely separate products brought together after the fact. That history is often exactly why the same student can look like several different people depending on which module you’re in.
Schoolise was built the other way around: starting from one connected dataset — organisation, people and academic structure — and building every module on top of that from day one, rather than stitching independent tools together after the fact.
